About Me

Hello Friend!

I am not sure if we have been properly introduced or not. Here is a little about me.

My name is Benjamin and I am a 22 year old, social work student. I use He/Him/His pronouns. I live in North Carolina, USA with my fiancé. My interests outside of social work include k-pop, studying Korean culture, and spending time with my fiancé and our dog. I am getting ready to begin graduate school to get my MSW. After that I hope to get a LCSW licensure and work either in adoptions or be a play therapist. I am particularly drawn to working with children as I believe they are a population that cannot truly advocate for themselves. My favorite word is "truly" as it shows sincerity and emphasizes other words quite well. One of my favorite areas of social work to study is ethics. My favorite social worker author, fittingly, is Frederic Reamer.

I would like to thank you for reading my blog and especially thank my fiancé, brother, in-laws, and parents. I would not be the person I am today without their love, kindness, care, and sacrifice. They are all such wonderful people that have helped me become the passionate social worker I am today.

Do you have any questions about me? If so, please comment them and I will do my best to answer :)

Sincerely,

Benjamin (or Ben if you prefer)

P.S. - I will add a picture of myself as soon as I get a professional picture that I am happy with.
